My buddy J and I went over to Land’s End and the Cliffhouse Ruins here in San Francisco for some sunset shooting. It’s always more fun when you are out there with a friend. And we saw a pod of dolphins swim by, which is always a cool experience. I think this area has some of the best light I have ever found.
I am incredibly lucky to have such amazingly talented friends. If we are going with cliched things, the one I truly believe is surround yourself with people smarter and more talented than yourself, and your own growth is nearly guaranteed. Yesterday my buddy J and I went on a little photo adventure to the ruins of the Cliff House here in San Francisco. It was nearly two years ago when we went and I shot most of the footage for the video I have up in my portfolio. Thankfully we were again witness to an amazing sunset, and we also spotted a pod of dolphin(s?). Unfortunately they were a little far out, but a fun sight no less. I love airplanes. Specifically the classic WWII planes, spitfires and mustangs and the like. I was never very good at building models but I bought them anyway, and have a giant scar on my thumb to remind me to never be trusted with an exacto knife. And somehow I have always managed to miss Fleet Week here in SF, but just barely. The Blue Angels would roar past our office, and I’d just catch a glimpse. Last year I rode down to the water, only to have the show get cancelled upon my arrival because of the fog. This year …
